Colleen Goepfert, RBT - Colleen previously worked as an ABA Therapist in Massachusetts in a self-contained, ABA-based classroom setting. She has over 10 years experience working with children in the home, community and school setting. Colleen is very excited to have recently completed her Registered Behavior Technician training and received the RBT credential from the Behavior Analyst Certification Board. Even though the ABA methodology is fairly new to Colleen (starting in 2004) her connection to the special needs community is not. Her most treasured family member was special needs and lived for most of his life without services or an official diagnosis. Thankfully, times are changing and Colleen is very excited to see the support that is now available for even our youngest of learners and to be part of that change. As one of the newest technicians working at A New Leaf Therapeutic Services, Colleen is thrilled to be part of this quality group of professionals and to continue working with children and watching them progress and overcome obstacles. Colleen is a mother of two boys. Now that her and her husband are empty nesters, they enjoy traveling, rockclimbing, backpacking, hiking, biking, archery, weightlifting, along with many other activities that keep them active and fit. You can contact her at Colleen@fayettevillenewleaf.com.
