Where did you go to school and what degree(s) do you hold?

Park University, BS in Social Psychology; currently attending Capella University for my MA in ABA

Why do you enjoy working at ANLTS?
I enjoy working at ANLTS because the environment is always so positive and fun! From the day I started I felt like I was joining a family, not just a company.

What do you like about working with kids?
Kids are a breath of fresh air. They are so innocent, fun and unique. Children are our future and I love helping them learn and grow.

What made you want to work with kids?

I've always known that I wanted to work with kids, I just wasn't sure what I wanted to do. I've always wanted to help children live up to their potential and provide them with the tools and skills they need to succeed in life.

Why do you enjoy working with children diagnosed on the ASD spectrum?

Children on the ASD spectrum are so unique. No two are alike. I am always amazed by the strength these children have to overcome all the obstacles and challenges they are faced with. When a child reaches a goal he or she has been working on for weeks or months and seeing the excitement in their face is so uplifting and knowing I have helped them reach that goal through ABA is one of the most fulfilling parts of my job.

What are some of your professional accomplishments
I graduated with honors in 2012; I am currently on the presidents list at Capella; RBT certification

Is there something that you would like the public to know about you?
I am the mom of two toddlers. I spend my days with children and absolutely love it!

I want to be a BCBA!
