Ashley Long, RBT

Ashley Long was born and raised in Fayetteville, North Carolina. She has been working in Fayetteville as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT), with A New Leaf Therapeutic Services, PLLC since January 2015. Ashley enjoys practicing the Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) methodology when working with individuals diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder. Methods include implementing behavior intervention plans, schedules of reinforcement, skill acquisition and fading procedures. Prior to accepting the position at A New Leaf, Ashley worked as a Certified Nursing Assistant at an assisted living facility. Ashley has always had the drive and passion for helping others. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree of Science in Psychology, from Fayetteville State University; as well as two Associate Degrees from Fayetteville Technical Community College. Along with her degrees, Ashley holds certifications in Basic Life Support and Nonviolent Crisis Intervention. Ashley is currently enrolled in a Master's Degree of Education in Curriculum and Instruction: Applied Behavior Analysis program from Arizona State University, to pursue her dream of becoming a Board Certified Behavior Analyst.
